Nowadays this would just be considered one of those "asmr" videos...
the music is by far the greatest part about this scene. the long, single note instantly triggers a gut feeling in the viewer that something horrible has happened. i went into this movie completely blind (courtesy of my friend, will never forgive her) and i was shaking as soon as i heard the song playing.
That theme song is chilling
Welcome to Brazil...
When I watched it for the first time, I was devastated. Now I'm older. And I honestly think Rose got the best ending. She got to be with The Doctor Forever. 😢
What episode is this
what's that line from River, one that is meant to a bit before this scene, that breaks all our hearts "There will come a day, when I look into the eyes of the man I love, my husband and he won't know me". thats this right here, the horror of that, to have the one you love more than anything in this world, look at you and not know you
35:33 backrooms
I miss the days before there were cameras on every front door, and street cormer.
I think this demonstrates how scary and fanatical the Daleks are. Think about it, the old Daleks save their species to continue their cause, and the product of that mission instantly turns on them without thanks or hesitation, and they do NOTHING TO SAVE THEMSELVES!
this is sad 😢
In the book The Forgotten Son, it's revealed that each defeat by Clara weakened the Great Intelligence to the point that after failing to stop the Doctor during their first meeting, it jumped into the Brigadier's time stream instead where Clara couldn't follow it. However, it's attempt to merge with the Brigadier's brother just weakened it further. A week after the initial encounter with the Doctor the Great Intelligence, severely weakened and dying, tried one final plan which involved it recovering a fragment of itself that was left in the guy that it had possessed during that first fight. It reanimated his corpse as part of that plan too. However, once the Brigadier understood what the Intelligence was doing, he destroyed the reanimated corpse and the piece of the Intelligence inside of it. Having relied on that for survival and recovery, the Great Intelligence finally met its demise.
Gay movie
You got me excited and I sat through the whole thing only for there to be no gay sex. Shame on you.
I don't like Clive Rounds he tried to put Imhotep Casserole out of business..
That’s look like a game that’s M Rated
Albert Hall deserved at least a nomination for best supporting actor. he's great in this film
Worst most cringe piece of acting I’ve ever seen lol
One the most masterful and disturbing openings to any horror film I’ve ever seen.
0:21 everything the Doctor said here i want to see
I love clara there I said it
They murdered Malcom X. I am surprised they didn't Kill Denze.. He played this part too good.
I miss when the show felt like this :c
Our history teacher never discussed Ireland with us. He wanted to spare us the Troubles.
Why was he killed exactly?? And how did they manage to get inside the hall bearing weapons??
Bruh I just peeped this the guy Ronnie headbutts and stomps is the same dude who shoots fuches and strangles Sally.
I remember I pratically pissed myself when they showed them actually moving.
Roger ap Gwilliam wishes he could be so savage.
Shooting him in front of his kids them witnessing that traumatizing moment is horrifying
0:52 me when i have too much coffee
Vote Saxon for prime minister
Jesus Christ and Malcolm X are polar opposite. Christ is the Kingdom of God while Malcolm X is the kingdom of Satan. Racial color here doesn't matter
0:55
They need to bring him back
The daughter of Malcolm X said Daddy! So emotional 😭
Honestly the thing that depresses me the most about this is, eventually the day is saved by killing the creature. Had he actually agreed and gone along with the 'murder it' plan, all this could've been avoided. Whether it was intentional or not, the message of the episode is 'sometimes murder is the right choice', which goes against everything the Doctor believes in, but in the end murdering that creature is what saved his own life, so he can't even disagree with it. This episode is amazingly written and unbelievably terrifying, but the true core of it's story was 'sometimes murder is good', and the pacifiist, murder-opposed hero we all know and love is also bitterly aware of it. For all his posturing and preaching, the right choice was ultimately to kill.
What was in that stew? O'Neill?
I wish we saw elevens reaction to bad wolf
Now we have white people being more outraged than the minorities. Like just shut up and get out of the way. Support monetarily if you wanna help a movement but you don’t get to speak for any movement
what dalek is more powerful than the emperor nowadays?
rivers arc covered 3 different doctors and she always treat him the same
Aren't those feds doing false flags for 38 mins?
Sometimes we project our ideas backwards where they don’t really belong. In this scene, “political correctness gone mad” sticks out like a sore thumb.
i think this was the funniest episode of tv i have ever watched oh my god i havent ugly laughed like that in so long
Nothing can make a man cry This episode:
What did the doctor say after he called the Dalek’s useless?
I really thank you for uploading this piece of art nobody can find anywhere else. But for goodness' sake, how on earth are we supposed to enjoy it if there's a bloody ad interruption every 5 minutes?
2:16 in my opinion this is in direct reference the the manipulative and vengeful wrath of the seventh doctor. the version of the doctor that manipulates dalek emperors to to commit suicide and manipulates davross to commit a genocide on his home planet of skarro
This narrative illustrates random violence in which characters (hunter & prey) are nameless and voiceless... 🧐
I’m gonna have to finish watching this show this is some funny stuff
yeah, lawful "evil" the mastr ages the fire escapees to make sure they aren't hiding anywhere in corners, mastr(s) man, they are ruthless renegades
